Britain's first guide to UK Internet providers, the UK Internet list founded by Craig in June 1992. I think the first copy was posted to the Great Britain notesfile at Digital, however it was very soon posted to the Internet and has been updated continually ever since. My thanks to Cliff Stanford, who founded Demon the same month that the list began and who gave me some useful feedback. The motivation behind starting this list was twofold - to publish Internet Service Provider (ISP) prices and thus keep them competitive as certain providers were charging over the odds, and to work out how I could personally maintain internet access after leaving Digital. I am also listed in Who's who online and E-mail addresss of the rich and famous.

I learnt most of my info about HTML in 1996 from Teach Yourself Web Publishing with HTML in 14 days by Laura Lemay.

Some of these pages use the Gaeilge1 free font which I downloaded a few years ago. The author is Padraig McCarthy who used to be at padrgmcc@iol.ie but who seems to have moved. If anyone knows how to get in touch with him please let me know. Some other Gaelic fonts are available at Sean Mac Suibhne's font site.

I used to have some pages at Sabhal Mor Ostaig and at Demon Homepages but this site now supercedes them.
